Why One Umbrella? Well…we are a small, family-based concern, with a real interest in many aspects of the music business. It seemed like a good idea to put all of these different elements under one umbrella, that's all.

It also suggests a bit of protection from the many difficulties that can be thrown at you; well, rain anyway. We're not sure if the umbrella is an internationally recognised symbol of nurture, but we think it should be. At the very least, the umbrella is a bit of a national treasure here in the UK, and doesn't get the publicity it deserves!

What do we do? We work with singers, songwriters and bands. We work with people who WANT to be singers, songwriters, or in bands. We can offer simple recordings, career advice, mentoring, management, marketing…and many other things that begin with 'm'.  If there's something we can't do, we almost certainly know someone who can.  Vocal coaches, piano, guitar and drum teachers, musicians,  producers, sound engineers - we have plenty of contacts, and know some great people with amazing skills. People we are happy to recommend.

We are even building a small roster of high-quality acts for the One Umbrella Agency , so if you run a venue, or perhaps are looking for a musician or band to liven up a party, try us out.

We are, first and foremost, all about the music, and providing an environment from which anyone can work  towards realising their potential. It doesn't matter how young or old you are, or how experienced - One Umbrella Music is for you.
